This film tells the story of a fictional invasion of the Nazis in England during World War II. The Nazis disguised as british soldiers come into the village and are welcomed warmly but are soon revealed to be german soldiers who then occupy the village. The local squire is a traitor and the local home guard is killed, no one can get outside and the Nazis plan on using the village as their base to invade England. After several attempts to flee fail a young boy finally makes it despite being shot in the leg. The villagers hide in a house and wait for the army to arrive who then defeats the germans. At the end their fictional graves are shown.
