1969: Bravo company of 101st Airborne Division confronts the Vietcong in a bloody battle in the Ashua Valley. On the survey mape the hill is called "No. 937" but the GI´s call it "Hamburger Hill" - because their comrades are smashed to ground meat by the Vietcong. Within 10 days 420 soldiers are killed trying to storm a hill that has little strategic relevance.
