plot synopsis:
Beneath Hill 60 follows the true story of the Australian miner Oliver Woodward. 1916. Woodward and a team of Australian mining engineers and explosive experts were enlisted in the Great War to tunnel under enemy trenches on the Western Front. Lacking military skills, Woodward must also overcome the skepticism and hostility both of military officials and of some of the soldiers under his command.
