Reconstruction of the short life of Maurice Bavaud, a theology student from Neuenburg, Switzerland. He had tried to assasinate Hitler in Berlin, Berchtesgaden, and Munich, was arrested in a train from Munich to Paris, sentenced to death on December 18th, 1939 and finally decaptivated on May 14th, 1942. Neither the Swiss government not its ambassy in Berlin undertook serious attempts to save his life.
