plot synopsis:
The film tells the story of the return of the scientist Frédéric Lemoyne to his hometown Lyon after World War II. There he is supposed to give a speach about his father, the resistance fighter and hero Marcel Lemoyne. But his solid middle-class origin turns out to be different from his idea of it.
